Do I need a hearing test or a prescription?
No. GM-321 is an over-the-counter device for adults 18 and over with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss. If speech sounds muffled even in a quiet room, or you've had sudden hearing loss in one ear, please see a hearing professional first.
How long does it take to get used to them?
Most people need one to two weeks. Start at a low volume in quiet rooms for a few hours a day, then build up. Your brain is relearning sounds it has been missing, and that takes a little patience.
Will they whistle?
Whistling almost always means the ear tip is the wrong size or isn't seated. Work through the five sizes in the box. On top of that, the AI feedback canceller holds output for 15 seconds while you insert them, so the squeal never reaches your ear.
Can I take phone calls through them?
Yes. Bluetooth 5.3 pairs with iOS and Android and holds a stable link up to about 33 feet, for calls and for music or television audio.
